WEEK 1: Directing New Work

A workshop for emerging directors or for theatre makers looking to go into directing.
​​
From dramaturgy to rehearsal room techniques - this two hour workshop will give an insight into directing processes. This is an opportunity to brush up on existing knowledge and develop new skills, with room for questions at the end.
​WEEK 2: ​​Directors and Design
Thurs 4th Dec 2 - 4 pm​
​
A workshop for early career directors on how to approach working with designers - with a particular focus on set and costume design. This workshop will include techniques and processes that are about unlocking this part of the creative process. Participants are encouraged to think of a play they’d like to direct or are going to direct for this workshop.
